JAWANI PHIR NAHI ANI: A movie that promises to be all about fun, love and money, has been released on Eid ul Adha, 2018. After reading about the title and plot of the movie on a news website, I couldn’t help but think that I COMPLETELY AGREE with the title “Jawani phir nahi ani”. The Prophet (ﷺ) informed us that each one of us will be asked 5 questions on the Day of Judgment and NO ONE will be allowed to move from their place unless they answer them first. One of these questions will be about “your youth, and where you spent it”. [Tirmidhi] Meaning, what kept you busy during your jawani? So think deeply about how you plan to answer that question when you are standing before Allah (SWT). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) also told us that there will be 7 people under the shade of the throne of Allah (SWT) on the Day of Judgment. پچھلے دنوں ایک بھائی سے ملاقات ہوئی جو گھریلو مسائل کی وجہ سے بہت پریشان تھے۔ رشتے دار انکے والد کی کسی چھوٹی سی بات کی غلط تشریح کر کہ بُرا مان گئے اور ناراضگی بڑھتے بڑھتے لا تعلقی تک پہنچ گئی اور اس سب میں وہ بھائی نہ اِدھر کہ رہے نہ اُدھر کہ اور شدید زہنی اذیت سے گزرنا پڑ رہا۔ یہ کہانی اُس ایک بھائی کی نہیں۔ یہ کہانی ہمارے معاشرے کی ہے۔ یہ کہانی ہر گھر کی ہے۔ بڑے “بڑے” ہونے کی وجہ سے اپنے پاس ایک بڑا سا انا کونڈا (ego) رکھتے ہیں جسکی زد میں چھوٹے آتے ہیں۔ جس قوم کی آدھی زندگی ناراض رشتے داروں کو منانے میں صرف ہو جائے اور وہ مسئلے سلجھاتے گزر جائے جو انکے پیدا کیئے نہیں اُس قوم نے کیا ترقی کرنی؟ کتنے ہی نوجوان کتنی ہی عورتیں اپنی پوری زندگی سمجھوتا کر کہ اور پِس کر گزار رہے۔  انہوں نے اپنے بچوں کی کیا تربیت کرنی جنکو آدھی زندگی انا کی جنگ میں کھپا دیا جاتا ہے۔ پتہ نہیں آخر یہ سب کب تک چلے گا اور کتنی زندگیاں برباد کرتا جائے گا۔
