We are educated to be rich not to be happy

Happiness

What I think is that today we’re so much involved in our so called daily busy life that somehow we’ve forgotten what is real happiness. Now this is something important to raise awareness about. Don’t you think that the joy of life is not all about money. There are so many little things in our daily lives that can give us long lasting happiness like seeing a 2 year old laugh ,helping someone and that smile on their face after that. It isn’t important that when you have money only then you can have the real happiness. This is completely a myth. Money is only a source of satisfying our needs, it can’t buy happiness for you .Famous quote of all times from the book HARRY POTTER says that:
Hapiness can be found in the darkest of times if only one remembers to switch on the lights.
So people switch on the lights around you. What do u think a man who lives alone  in a five storey bungalow is more happy or a man who lives in a 2 bedroom flat with his wife and children??? Obviously a man with his family. At the end of the day what’s the importance of that money if you don’t have someone to share it with?? Its a mere piece of paper. That’s it!!!
Real happines can be bought by doing good, creating your own identity so that people remember you even after you are not surviving in this world. So many of us chose to be doctors, some go for engineering etc.I bet 95% of the students don’t count on the monthly income of the profession while choosing it. If money could buy happiness then celebrities who can buy 12 acres Villa, 5 luxurious cars would be the most happiest persons but unfortunately most of them have torn families, scandalous lifestyles and are blatantly unhappy.
I’m not against earning money. For sure you should but besides this leave your marks,  your footprints in the world. Abdul sattar Edhi Saab was not  a wealthy man but even after he’s no more between us he’s still alive in our hearts because he loved people. His philanthropy has won million hearts. Can u buy health with money?? Can u bring back a dead person with money? Does there’s any price of someone’s feelings and emotions?? Bigger things than money are moral values.Money is a good servant and a bad master too.
Just forget the past, dont be despair about the future. Even nature follows the same law.You know how? You can look at your right side, at your left side by turning your neck. You can even look in front of you but you can’t look back by turning your head by 180 degrees.
Haven’t you ever experienced the joy of dancing in the rain, the fragrance of wet soil, eating icecreams in foggy winter nights with someone you love, walking bare footed on wet grass, holding hands, the sound of baby cackle when you throw him up in the air, the laughter with your Friends in the corridor of you college, those many hands in one packet of lays, that fighting over the last sip of coke, that smile on your parent’s face because of you and that satisfaction which you get from it. I’ve experienced  these all and obviously you  also have. Maybe many of you have disagreements with me. But in my opinion materialism will only bring unhappiness. I guess this quote is enough to sumup my whole argument :
Don’t educate your children to be rich, educate them to be happy so that when they grow up they will Know the value of things not the price.  can be found in the darkest of times if only one remembers to switch on the lights.
